One final roadtrip before summer ended to the Omaha Zoo today! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we had so much fun checking out all of the animals.
A highlight of the day: a zoo worker placed this butterfly on Andrew's head as we were leaving the butterfly garden.
And then he placed it on Kate's shirt!
This summer has been the best one yet...the weather was amazing, the kids are at a fantastic age, and we were able to do so many fun things. I always get so sad when summer comes to an end, but I continue to be incredibly thankful that I get to spend the summers with my kids!
