Sibling Love

I am really looking forward to when the kids start really interacting and playing together. Jason got a peak of what's to come while I was grocery shopping today.
Love these two!

My Y Tri

Jason & I completed the Marshalltown Y Tri on Saturday. We were both pretty happy with the how we did and it was fun spending time with our good friends Adam & Gretchen.

A 5 Month Comparison

We dug out the ExerSaucer for Andrew this week. He loves to stand in it and play with the toys on the side.
Here is Kate at 5 months. What bald-headed babies we have!

Love

We hope everyone had a day full of love & treats!
(Kate wanted to hold Andrew's hand so he wouldn't fall over)
p.s. Jason is holding Andrew's shirt from behind the door, since Kate has a tendency of dropping him if we try to put him on her lap.

Random Acts of Vogels

I just pulled these off my camera from this past week. Totally random, but that's our life right now!
Bathtub paint+a stir-crazy toddler=1 hour of fun in the water (2 nights in a row!)
And look who's eating cereal!
This has also been a favorite evening activity: Andrew rides on Kate's back or shoulders. Then he starts to pull her hair. So she gets her pink hat. (see photo #1)

Baptism

Yesterday we were blessed to have all of our family join us for Andrew's baptism.
He is wearing a 60 year old baptismal gown, which was made by grandmother. Here is a picture of everyone in the family who has worn the gown, with grandma in the middle.
A happy baby during the ceremony.
Kate gave him some love when he started to fuss. (yes, neither of my children are wearing shoes. Don't judge.)
Not a huge fan of the water, but he didn't cry too hard.
A group shot of the Vogels--we are so grateful everyone made the drive to join us!

Greater Expectations

It was this time last year that this size snowman serviced.
My, how things have changed.
Thanks to Daddy, Grandpa, & Uncle Mike for setting this year's standards.
May I suggest you start planning for next year now?
