93 Years Young

Great-grandma turned 93 today so we went to the cabin to celebrate!

A Glass of Water

Kate decided she wanted a cool drink of water this afternoon. It was quite the process!

State Fair

Driven by the thought of all the food on a stick (including chocolate dipped bacon--new this year!) we decided to check out the state fair.

Kate wasn't sure about the cows and was confused because the sheep were sheared and not fuzzy like in the books, but we did get some great food and had fun people watching!

Paint and a Puppy

We had quite the busy weekend! Kate stayed with grandma & grandpa while Jason and I got some painting done, enjoyed a bike ride together and had a wonderful dinner with friends followed by my 10 year high school reunion! Sunday afternoon my brother came home with a new English bulldog puppy so we had to go check him out. Pretty cute!

A Girls Day

Kate and I decided to take a final summer road trip to see Aunt Alisha in Omaha.

We had lunch and the owner brough Kate her very first piece of sushi. Yummy!
Then we went to the zoo. Can you spot us through the rainforest waterfall?

We went to the Indianola Balloon Festival this evening.
It was a lovely night.
