And Then There Were 4!

On September 22 at 6:23 pm, little Andrew Riley joined our family. He weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and is 19 inches long. The delivery went smoothly & quickly and we are all doing wonderfully.

Big sister Kate was very excited to meet her baby brother, but was a little disappointed when he wouldn't say "hi" to her.

We are heading home today and are so excited to settle into this new life of ours!

Kate + Belly

Today we checked off one of the last things on my "to do before baby comes" list: take some belly photos with Kate. Here we are with 2 weeks until my due date...

Thanks to my mom for the sweet photos. I can't wait for my two babies to meet each other!

A Carousel Ride

Determined to take advantage of this perfect, fall-like weather, and the fact that we are a family of 3 for only a few more short weeks, we jumped on Kate's idea to go to the Carousel at Union Park (she had been there once before with Grandma & Papa Jack).

I know of no other thing that would produce such a grin for only 50 cents a ride.

After riding it twice, she and daddy went down the huge slide that was at the playground in the park.

Then back for one more ride!

Water Sticks

In Kate's opinion, there is no better way to spend a gorgeous afternoon than throwing countless water sticks into a lake. So this is how we spent and hour and a 1/2 yesterday afternoon.

(The size of the water sticks have grown considerably as the summer has gone on)
