Kate and Aunt Angela had a fun time playing at the park today in Sioux City.
What a great way to spend an afternoon!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year, Kate was introduced to an important Cavanagh Thanksgiving tradition: the making of the Heavenly Hash. First, she helped chop the fruit (ok, mostly she ate the dates). Next, she helped make the whip cream.
Then came her favorite part: taste testing!Looks good!

And some pumpkin pie with dad for dessert!

Of course, what is Thanksgiving without...oatmeal? She also had a bowl of that! Off to Sioux City to see the Vogels tomorrow!

Waffles

What do you do if mom says no waffles for dinner?

ISU Game

Last weekend we went to the last ISU home game. Once again, Kate had a great time tailgating with grandma while we went to the game. We enjoyed an entertaining game that ended with a victory!

Evening Swim

We headed to our gym after dinner tonight for a little family swim. Kate wasn't sure at first, but once we found the water weights she loved it.

We stayed in until her lips turned blue, then it was time to put our feet in the hot tub to warm up. It will be nice to keep Kate used to the water this winter so we are all ready when summer comes again!

Rockin' It!

Kate was rockin' a mohawk after her bath tonight.
She even got some wailing in!

The Zoo

Since Jason missed out on all of the summer zoo trips, we decided to take advantage of the 72 degree weather (!!) today and headed to the zoo.

The lions were awesome because they kept roaring back and forth to each other.
2 prariedogs.
Petting a goat.
Enjoying a snack.
