Easter

Last weekend we traveled to Sioux City to celebrate Easter. Lucky for us, this cute little bean made is first trip to grandma & grandpa's as well!

Andrew & Kate both loved feeding and holding baby Knoxley. 

 After their cousin left for home, we got to dying easter eggs which is always a fun adventure!

 The next morning the kids were excited to see that the Easter Bunny had found us all the way in Sioux City. 

 After finding 34 eggs, and a few other small gifts, the kids went outside and found a remote control helicopter and a fairy garden. As you can see from the video below, someone was QUITE excited!

Kate as also really excited for her fairy garden and got right to work with the painting.

Family Celebration

On Saturday we celebrated Kate's birthday with family. It was a great evening of fun!

Officially six!

 Opening gifts, which included a slip & slide, caterpillars (fingers crossed they become butterflies under our care!) and flower pots, mini-books to create herself, and chalk games to play outside...all her favorite things!

Andrew was MOST excited about this butterfly net that Uncle Mike sent. 

 Definitely his favorite gift!

As our week of celebration came to an end we were very blessed to spend time with our family who has been there for Kate (and us!) every step of the past six years. What a lucky little girl we have to be surrounded by so much love!
