Inside Play

We spent a fun weekend visiting Grandpa and Grandpa in SC. Luckily, Grandma found this awesome indoor playground...perfect for this winter's cabin fever!

Kate wasn't sure about the giant inflatable bouncies at first, but she quickly realized how fun it was.

Sledding

What a winter we have had! We finally got out to enjoy the snow, as it had "warmed up" (20*) today. First, daddy pulled Kate around on the snow mobile he used to ride when he was a kid.

Then Kate hit the slopes in the backyard.


We could only stay out for a little while because it's still very cold. Enjoying hot cocoa with marshmallows afterwards.

Coffee Break

Kate really wanted some of my coffee, so daddy made her some chocolate milk and put it in a mug. Like mother like daughter...

Happy New Year!

2010 is here! We had a fabulous evening with our friends from Cedar Rapids/Boston, and their girls Lily (middle) and Maren (right). Here are the kids in February, (Lily, Kate, Anthony, Maren). They were so much bigger--and happier--this year!
