Easter Fun

We spent a very nice weekend with the Vogels in Sioux City for Easter. On Saturday Kate dyed some Easter eggs. She, of course, took her job very seriously.

Andrew had a great time playing with (plastic) eggs.

Baby Yoga

To clear his mind each night, Andrew has taken up a daily yoga routine. Feel free to get out your mat and follow along with his poses. Begin with downward facing dog:

On the exhale, move to tabletop position.

Next, bring yourself to a plank. Stay here for a breath or two.

When you are ready, go to cobra.

And finally, end your practice with another downward dog.

I promise that we do feed our children...but apparently socks are the go-to snack around here!

Little Inchworm

Andrew is now mobile! This week he learned to get from here to there by inching along. I'm glad I got a video because I don't think this move will be around for long--I have a feeling crawling is coming soon! He also finally busted through his first tooth this week. I need my baby to stop growing so quickly!

Kite Flyin'

As most of you know, Andrew was in the hospital for three days and two nights this week with RSV, so when we saw how nice it was outside today we jumped at the chance to get out and enjoy it!

We headed to the school across the street to try out the new kite that Uncle Tom got Kate for her birthday.

We also got to try out a new transport option for Andrew: the rear backpack. He seemed to like it!

So, so happy to have the whole family back together again!
