Gingerbread Trains

Max the elf brought a gingerbread train decorating kit & it was a fun time getting it put together.

It's Beginning to Look...

...A lot like Christmas! We decorated the tree the first weekend of December. The kids love pulling out each ornament and talking about when they got it. I think this is the first year that I haven't had to redistribute the ornaments from a small clump near the bottom, to spread out around the tree...they did a great job!

Halloween

Fall seemed to come and go so quickly this year! We enjoyed all of our favorite traditions; pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, and trick or treating. 

 This year featured Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter, and a taco. With no shoes. 

Their favorite part afterwards: sorting and trading candy. 

Palisades

One of our favorite fall traditions is spending the day at Palisades with the Cavanagh family. Our fall has been quite rainy, so we enjoyed it even more thanks to the sun. The bright colored leaves were definitely putting on a show this year. 

Andrew's Birthday

Eight is: a big heart & a sharp sense of humor, a new pogo stick & an old blankie loved to pieces. It’s video games with dad & morning cuddles with mom. It’s sitting with a classmate because he “needed a friend”. Eight is playing with friends but loving your family most. Happy 8th birthday to our sweet boy.
