Sunday School Singing

This year I, along with a friend of mine, was the Sunday School teacher for Andrew's 4 year old class. Yesterday was the last day of class and it ended with a musical celebration of everything we had practiced over the year. Andrew loves singing and did a fantastic job with the words and hand motions. Love this sweet little energetic boy!

Evan John

On April 7th, this sweet little bundle of love joined the Cavanagh family. Evan John weighed 6lbs 14 ounces and is 20 1/4" tall. We could not be happier for Alisha & Marshall. He is going to be one spoiled little boy!

Albuquerque

Last week I traveled to New Mexico for training for school. After spending all day in sessions, it was so great to get out to the desert for a hike. I had a fabulous four days, but was really ready to get home on Saturday...I missed my little family. 

Easter

We had such a wonderful Easter. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed a relaxing day outside with family and lots of good food!

This year, the Easter Bunny left pictures of everything the kids needed to find. This was fantastic because there was no confusion over which item belonged to which kid during the hunt!

 Andrew was SUPER excited to see that the Bunny had left him a new Nerf gun. As Jason said, it's turning into an arms race at the Vogel house!

 After the hunt we enjoyed bunny pancakes that daddy made. So cute!

 We then went to mass, and headed to Grandma & Papa's for another egg hunt. 

 

 And some egg dying!

 It truly was a blessed day. Happy Easter everyone!

Kate's Birthday

And just like that, our little girl is seven! We had quite the weekend of celebration last weekend, starting with an owl-themed party for Kate's friends. 

A sign she made at school to put on the door, owl cupcakes, and an owl sandwich.

The fun included painting a little jewelry box, 

 and making owls out of foam. 

 Opening presents. 

 And finishing with some birthday treats. 

Andrew got to spend the morning with Uncle Tom doing what he loves most...

 and then got to join the party for cupcakes and ice cream. 

 Later that afternoon Grandma & Grandpa Vogel and Uncle Mike came over, so the fun continued. The kids loved doing Spin Art. 

 And the next day we met the Cavanaghs for one final birthday celebration.
