This past weekend I was oh-so-lucky to get to take a trip to Portland to hang out with my roommates from Iowa State. It had been 8 years since we were all together, so the time was extra-special.

Which was followed by a trip to the spa and lunch with this incredible view.

The next day was spent shopping in downtown Portland, eating at a fabulous sushi restaurant, and then a night kayak trip through the gorge.
For our third and final day we took a 90 minute drive to Cannon beach, where we relaxed, shopped, ate salt water taffy and explored the tide pools during low tide.
Whenever I spend time with these ladies I am reminded why I love them so much and why we have been friends for over 10 years. Here's to many more memories to come!
