Jason & I have been wanting to buy kayaks for quite awhile. Now that we have room in our garage to store them, we are on a quest to find the perfect ones. So we took a drive to a lake about 40 miles outside of town to test some out last weekend. The day was quite cold but we enjoyed trying them all out.
Andrew was adamant that he had his own paddle. I told him to go ask a lady who was helping out, so he marched right up and returned with 1/2 a kayaking paddle that was just his size!
Both kids really liked the boats, but Andrew really liked them. He wanted to test each one, especially the red ones. Even now, one week later he asks to go to the lake to ride in boats. Each time I tell him it's too cold he says "It's okay mama, I wear my jacket".
