We had an amazing time at the cabin this year. The weather was fantastic, the lake was inviting and everyone found fun to be had from morning until night!
After the 8 hour drive, the kids quickly changed and dove right in.
They loved the kids-sized kayaks and took them out all the time.
Grandpa's surprise was a huge hit: lots of shenanigans went down on this floating mat throughout the week!
I enjoyed lots of reading time,
and running on the nearby trails.

A new challenge this year: water skis for the kids. Kate got up on her third try,
and was quickly comfortable on top of the water.
So proud!
Andrew tried several times and didn't quite make it up, but there is do doubt he will next year!
He preferred being captain of the ship,
and doing LOTS of fishing.

As always, this was our favorite week of the summer. We are so blessed to make these memories with our family!
