Lately

Soooooo sad that June has already come & gone, but I can honestly say we couldn't have had a better start to our summer. Here's what we we've been up to:

First watermelon of the summer...a family favorite.
Celebrating our #1 dad on father's day with a trip to the best ice cream shop.
Lots of trips to the pool so far this summer. As well as an obsession of the musical Hamilton. (well, at least for Kate and I). Here is Kate sharing the music with Andrew. Love.
A feral child in our pond who looks quite similar to Mowgli from the Jungle Book.
 Off to catch frogs.
They came home with at lest 15 tiny, tiny frogs.
Andrew attended Safety Town for a week.
 Kate sleeping among her "guys".
Our first time biking to the pool! So lucky that the bike trail takes us right there.
I went to Honey Creek Lodge with some good friends from Cedar Rapids, it was an amazing day spent catching up and hanging out on a boat.
Our first tomato from our first family garden. If things keep going well, this is the first of a LOT of tomatoes in our near future.
Andrew has been playing on a t-ball team that has games once a week. He loves it.

And our first night on our new patio. This has quickly become by favorite place to spend summer evenings.
