The Duluth Wedding

This weekend, Jason's sister got married in Duluth. We turned it into a mini-vacation and had an amazing time!

On Friday we drove the six hours and then after checking into our hotel we explored the rocky shores of Lake Superior. With an infinite number of rocks to throw into the water, the kids were in heaven.

That evening we went to the wedding rehearsal, where Kate perfected her step to flower throw ratio and Andrew worked on not throwing his ring pillow at the guests. Dinner followed where the kids enjoyed drinking water out of fancy glasses.

The next morning I headed on the lake front for a morning run. The views were amazing and the temps were cool which made for some fantastic miles.

We then headed to the water park in the hotel. The water was much warmer than other water parks we have been to, and the kids had a blast!

It was then time for the wedding. Thanks to Aunt Angela's impeccable fashion sense, these two were the best dressed flower girl & ring bearer ever!

Someone was a bit tired of photos!

Andrew and cousin Knoxley before the ceremony.
The kids did a super job walking down the aisle and the wedding was absolutely beautiful.
Drinks, dinner and dancing followed, though after many hours of wedding events the kids didn't make it too long into the dance.
We were glad that we had planned to stay an extra day so that we could enjoy hanging out on Sunday. It included more exploring on the rocks.

And lots more swimming at the hotel.

We are so happy that we got to be a part of Tim & Angela's day and enjoyed all that Duluth had to offer!
