As our summer is coming to an end (tear, sniff, sob), it was time for our annual girls day. This one may have been our best one yet!
First stop: giant cinnamon roll.
I think they get bigger every year!
Next we headed to paint a plate. I plan to have the kids do a plate each year so that when they are ready to leave the house they will get to take a hand-painted set of plates with them. And yes, I am aware that during the middle school years I will probably have to drag them to do this, but in the end I am sure they will appreciate the memories. ;)
Didn't it turn out so well?! (Now that I think about it, the plates may have to stay with mama.)
And since it was so beautiful outside, we headed downtown to each lunch and walk up to the capitol. Kate has been practicing handstands lately.
Love this girl SO much!
