Last week the kids had student-lead conferences. They shared different things they have been doing in school, and then performed some songs for parents. It was great to hear what they have been doing and you could tell they had practiced what they were going to say to us.

Kate sharing her learning portfolio. She had some great writing pieces and lots of reflections on her learning.
Then it was Andrew's turn.
Self assessment. He said he was going to give himself a small smiley for "I participate in class every day" but his teacher said he needed to mark the big smiley face. Apparently he likes to share & answer questions. :)
"I like to eat Costco hotdogs". (That's his dad's fault)
We finished the night with Kate's musical performance.
Both kids have learned so much and really grown this year. It was fun to celebrate this with them!
