For months and months the kids have been playing in a band with our friends. The song changed, members quit, they got back together, they broke up again. You know...the usual. Finally, a date was set for the performance. Practices were scheduled, invitations were sent (or at least made and then texted) and details planned. When the day finally got here, the kids were so excited and they played to a packed house, including dads, grandparents and cousins who took time out of their day to come. It was amazing.
The stage directions found taped inside the dressing room.
The tickets for each audience member, that included your name and seat number,
which were then stamped,
and used to check in.
And then the performance started!
The set was five songs long and each one was just delightful. Here's a sample. *turn it up nice and loud so you get the full effect.
Love these kids!
