It seems like just yesterday that we were visiting Kate's school at the end of last summer for her kindergarten open house. This year flew by and we are so proud on how much Kate grew both socially and academically.
Since I finished school a day earlier than Kate, I was able to visit her for a bit on her last day. They had cupcakes to celebrate a classmate's birthday.
And then they had a "talent" show. Talent is a loosely used word because the acts included attempting a flip (I couldn't watch...it was too painful and my "bad idea" radar was blaring), dribbling a basketball, twirling in a circle, and multiple versions of the song "Let It Go". Kate chose to read the book One Fish Two Fish. For those of you who know the book, you know that it's QUITE long. Her classmates did a nice job listening, but watching them wiggle was quite amusing: shoes were coming off, girls were doing each other's hair, and I think one boy took a bit of a nap. Kate did a great job reading though and I was proud of her talent.
Last day photos.
