The spring weather is finally here, and we are LOVING being outside.
A couple of weekends ago we spent all morning at the neighborhood park flying kites.
Kate's last Sunday school class was also a couple of weekends ago. After class, the kids performed a series of songs they had learned over the year. I do have a video of the performance, but let's just say I think you would enjoy a photo more.
Andrew's reward for enduring enjoying the show...
And look who showed up in Room #112 one day! Papa Jack spent the day teaching my students, which was great for everyone!
Running to the library in the rain.
Making May Day baskets.
Kate got caterpillars for her birthday. We are proud to report that ALL five of them hatched into butterflies.
Climbing the neighbor's tree. Which was cute and sweet at first, and then turned into a panicked "how is she going to get down?!" moment. Luckily, Kate zipped right down without a problem.
And finally, last night Andrew and I enjoyed some time together while Kate was at a birthday party. First stop: the candy store...
Followed by some climbing at the park,
And a trip to the beach.
Where he enjoyed the water.
In his underwear.
Which reminded me of this day--->here
After all the excitement during the day, it's easy to fall asleep at night!
HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE!
