Apple Orchard

Last Sunday we made a last minute decision after church to jump in the car and head to the apple orchard. So glad we did...the weather was perfect & it was a fantastic afternoon of fall fun.

We took the tractor ride first to avoid lines after it got busier. The kids spent the whole time picking up hay off the floor and throwing it off the back of the tractor.
Next up was the giant slide. They added tunnels this year; both kids sat on potato sacks & went down by themselves several times.

After I made them pose for photos by the pumpkins, we headed to the giant jumpy pillow.
 Always a favorite!
The kids then took a try at peddling the tractors. They were a bit too big, but next year I bet they will be able to do it!

After the tractors we waited in line for the "toddler train". For some reason, Andrew had it in his head that he got to drive the rain, and was very  disappointed when daddy informed him that he was mistaken.

Luckily, the corn pool was close by and provided a distraction.

After both kids were told that they were not allowed to continue doing flips off the hay bales into the corn, they decided to burry each other instead.

Another great fall day spent together!
