Waterpark Fun

On Monday, we were excited to surprise the kids with a trip to a waterpark about 2.5 hours from home. The kids had never stayed in a hotel before, so they were really excited about the whole thing. It was even more fun than we expected!

Andrew and Daddy going down the waterslide. Kate went down a ton by herself, but I didn't get any great pictures of her.
The biggest hit of the park was definitely the wobbly log bridge. I cannot tell you how many times each of them went across!

After day one: enjoying a Poptart in bed while watching cartoons...is there a better way to spend a vacation?!
Back for more fun the next morning.

And one last treat before we left: dippin dots ice cream.

Despite chilly water (there were definitely blue lips and shivering involved!), we had an absolute blast. It was a great way for the kids to burn off their energy, since the weather looks like it's going to keep us inside the rest of break.
