Spring Lately

This spring was a whirlwind, as 75% of the Vogels were in-season. We made it though, and had fun through it all.

Kate started soccer again for the first time since kindergarten. She has loved playing and impresses us with her aggressiveness and determination on the field.
We have had lots of rain this spring, but also some great sunrises.
Lots of my time was spent coaching on the track and the soccer fields.
Kate worked really hard on her science fair project and did a fantastic job presenting her findings to judges, parents, and classmates.
Family roller blading on the trail.
 Easter in Sioux City.
Our first family run: the Grand Blue Mile.

Followed by a {chilly} two mile race a few days later. (Andrew stayed home where it was warm)

Andrew is playing baseball this year. His favorite position is pitcher, which I find quite stressful to watch.
Since we have been so busy, Jason & I have to get creative about getting our runs scheduled. Luckily, Kate's soccer practice is at one of our favorite trails.
Spring orchestra concert.

 Reading to Grandma Vogel.
And finally...lots of time in our happy place...right in our own backyard.
