Kate & I just got back from a girls trip to Chicago, and it.was.the.best. Get ready for photo-overload! :)
The traditional "start of the trip selfie". We left at noon on Tuesday and the drive went really well, other than the 1.5 hours of awful traffic as we got into the city.
We took the train into downtown early Wednesday morning and were one of the first people up on the 94th floor of the Hancock Building. The views were amazing.
We then walked down Michigan Ave to Millennium Park where we saw the bean sculpture & played on the new playground, which was awesome.
After lunch, it was time for what we have been looking forward to for over a year--HAMILTON!
The show was incredible and even better than we had hoped.
As we were leaving the theater we noticed some people standing in line and realized they were waiting for the actors to come out for autographs. We jumped in line and were rewarded with...
King George,
Angelica,
and Aaron Burr!
They were all so sweet.
The next day we woke up tired, but not ready to leave the city yet, so we took a tour bus that looped around the city. This was a great way to see the sites without having to walk (we got off at Navy Pier, but otherwise stayed on the bus).
