Lately

We had a fun month of getting outside and wrapping up school! 

The roses outside our kitchen window were declared dead this spring :(, so we decided to turn the spot into our first garden. We planted pepper, cucumbers, tomatoes & strawberries. Fingers crossed that these plants make it better than their predecessors. 

 The first kayak trip of the year. Always one of our favorite ways to spend an afternoon!

 Kate shares my love of hiking, so we set out for our new favorite trail. It always great spending alone time with her!

 I snuck a picture of her playing school with all her stuffed animals, which are lined up in a circle listening to the story.

Frozen yogurt to celebrate!

 Papa Jack brought Andrew to my school for my last day of students. My students were running a 5k that they had trained for and Andrew got to start the race. So much fun!

 And yesterday we played frisbee golf. 

We are so excited summer is here and are looking forward to lots of adventures to come!
