Lately

After downloading pictures from my phone, it appears that we have been up to a lot of fun lately. Summer is clearly here! Here's what's been going on:

Kate got to be the second base coach at Andrew's last game. She said they didn't listen very well.
As we haven't been doing naps during the summer, bedtime is swift and sweet.
I literally have no idea where this photo was taken, but Kate seems to be enjoying a treat of some sort.
Despite the cold and rainy weather, the kids and I headed to the beach...we had it all to ourselves!
An Autism walk for one of my work friends.

A glimpse of a typical morning with Andrew.

 Trip to the Science Center.

A typical look of Andrew when asked what he wanted to do. Answer: "play fighting with kitchen tools".
 Keeping the flowers hydrated.
 Date night with the kayaks.

After stopping at a fruit stand, Kate immediately came home, picked the (pathetically small) rhubarb from our backyard and opened a stand where the kids made $6. She was shocked that no one ate the rhubarb, but I assured her they were just going home to put sugar on it.
Celebrating Father's Day at our favorite ice cream shop.
 A game of bowling.
 This is how he rolls.

And finally, a trip to Cedar Rapids today to play with our friends.
So sad the month of June is almost gone, but we are definitely making the most of summer!
