End of the Year Fun

The last few days of 2014 were filled with lots of fun!

Kate had her second sleepover at her best friend's (and neighbor) house. She had a great time and took a LONG nap the next day, which is always the sign of a successful overnight.
For Christmas, Aunt Alisha got Kate a science kit filled with lots of fun experiments. The first one we tried was "sunset in a test tube" and it was lots of fun.

The kids also each got an dinosaur digging kit. They spent 30 straight minutes chipping away at the "dirt" looking for bones. Once they are all out, the bones clip together to make a model dinosaur. There is still a lot more digging to do, which is great for all the time we have to be inside.

Jason and I were lucky enough to be at the ISU basketball game for New Years Eve. The Cyclones dominated from the start, so it wasn't much of a game, but it was still a great place to be to end the year.
2014 could not have been more fun...we can't wait to see the adventures 2015 will bring!
Happy New Years everyone!
