What better way to beat the 100* temps that we have been having than to hit the beach? While both kids spent most of the time in the water, here they are digging a hole.

There was a brief downpour, but we stayed in the water. Until it thundered, then we ran up the beach to the shelter.
The rain was brief, and we enjoyed an hour or so more swimming around and cooling off. It was definitely a great way to spend a summer afternoon!
