Tonight we made the 40 minute drive to the Indianola Balloon Festival. Things started off well, mainly because Kate got a slushy treat... 
... but it became clear that a 2 year old who had gone to bed at 9:45 the night before, was not really into watching slow moving objects in the sky, even if they were really pretty. She did find one she thought was quite funny because it had sunglasses.

And she did indulge me for one photo with Mono, but then the night was over.
