We had a fabulous weekend with the Vogels, that was well worth the 4.5 hour drive to South Dakota! Here is Kate enjoying the scenery on the lake in our first boat trip of the summer.
Though it was a bit cold & windy, she loved the beach. Here she is looking for "water sticks" to throw in. Note: they could not have any bugs on them or she wouldn't let Grandpa throw them in!
Working on digging a hole, that she would later attempt to fill with water.
She did get brave and go in the water, and laughed when the waves splashed her.
Watching daddy wake-board. When he was all done she said "my turn now", and took some convincing that the boots were too big. Maybe next year!
