What a crazy couple of days! We started off with a fun pizza picnic with the neighbors on Friday night, followed by a day of planting on Saturday. Jason got 6 trees planted (3 pines and 3 cherry blossoms) while I worked on potty training with Kate. She did a great job for day #1! Unfortunately, the next part of our Saturday evening was spent at the walk-in clinic, as Jason needed 6 stitches in his knees after a losing battle with the wheel barrow. Sunday was followed with a digression in potty training due to an overnight at grandma's and a 4 hour nap in the middle of the afternoon. We did get to enjoy the warm weather in Kate's new pool (see photos below). Then, when Jason was getting Kate dressed for dinner, her arm twisted funny in her dress which dislocated the elbow (this is the 3rd time in a year this has happened). So we spent the evening in the ER. Luckily, it just takes a quick pop from the doctor and the arm is as good as new. Kate was promised ice cream on our way there so she told all the staff that she was getting strawberry. Here's to hoping our next weekend is much more calm and relaxing and that we stay out of the medical offices for awhile!
