Jason and I took a long weekend to enjoy a child-free trip to Kansas City this weekend. We had an awesome room at the downtown Hyatt Hotel and happen to be there for the Big 12 Basketball finals.
Saturday night we watched the Kansas vs. Kansas State game in a large covered outdoor area with a big screen TV.
It was really crowded and the atmosphere was great! 
Our hotel was very close to Union Station which was a neat old building.
A cool clock.
Overall, it was the longest time we have had alone in 2 years and it was wonderful to have time to shop, eat at non-kid friendly restaurants and sleep in late! Thanks to the grandparents for watching Kate!
